Born on New Year’s Day in 1998, Duo Liming is a graduate of bridge design engineering at a university in China. He has a passion for painting and photography, and has always been fascinated by “strange things” and quirky visuals. 
 
Duo describes the gay community as a beautiful disco ball, “Everyone is a small piece of sequin shimmering for themselves, keeping their own faith alive.” He started recording the lives of his friends from the LGBTQ+ community and telling their unique stories through his lens. 
 
In this world full of unknowns and uncertainties, Duo has woven a magic carpet with his art, and invited us to join him on the carpet ride to escape reality for just a while.
